I have purchased, read and promoted your book, particularly on the SPD yahoo group, truly I think it’s the best book on the subject out there to date, and tell people so. Perhaps on your next addition, you could title it:
“The Autism, ADHD, and Sensory Processing Disorder Diet”
You helped me quite a bit by writing that book! I was just starting out when I bought it off Amazon.
and just another thing:
I would have never in a million years figured out nor believed my SPD daughter had a leaky gut, and the gluten and casein peptides were having an opiate effect on her brain, UNTIL I actually went GFCF 100% and saw for myself.

I just wanted to drop you a note and say that I have read your book (and I keep going back to it and using it as a reference) and the GFCFSF diet is making a big difference in my 10 year old son with Asperger’s. He’s been diagnosed since he was five, and I’d always “poo-pooed” on the idea of doing the GFCF diet because he is very high functioning and I didn’t really think we’d see enough benefits to merit the hassle and added expense that I thought it would be. But, I started the diet about 4 months ago and my husband and I see great changes in our sweet boy. He’s a different kid!
Your book has been my primary resource for implementing the diet. Your book was also the impetus for me removing all the artificial preservatives, colors and dyes out his food and his toiletries. I don’t think that would’ve occurred to me to do otherwise.
I’m learning that this is a “learning process” as we go and it’s getting easier to implement. I’m currently trying to figure out if soy is a problem for us, too. The “jury’s still out” on that one: I don’t know that we’ve given it enough time to make that call or not. His eczema was flaring horribly even on the GFCF diet, so we removed soy, and it got better and then it came back, so I don’t know. We’ll see.
All that to say, you’ve written a great resource for all us moms out there trying to fight for our kiddos. We’re benefitting from your book. So, thanks.
