Endorsement for my book
Review of “The Autism Diet”:
First, the title is somewhat “misleading” - in the very BEST sense of the word. It modestly suggests that the book covers only one diet (GFCF). Though it certainly does cover the diet thoroughly, the scope of the book goes way beyond this. It is really more a guide for parents of children on the Spectrum (or suspected of being on the Spectrum) in initiating any and all treatment interventions.
Ms. Silberberg concisely offers needed direction and resources to parents being faced with the daunting challenge of sorting their way through the maze of available treatments, and instructs how to go about pursuing those that may resonate with or interest them. Her book provides support, hope, and inspiration in a compact, easy-to-use format.
Beyond its value to parents, any interested physician can gain through this book quick insight into the many options available to interested parents. As a DAN! physician who does not have a child on the Spectrum myself (as many others do), this book gave me a concise look at the parents’ perspective that was invaluable. This information is simply not part of the DAN! biomedical physician training. This book would be an ideal choice for a physician to present to a newly-diagnosed “Spectrum family”, or to suggest therapeutic options that might remain to be explored outside of the DAN! biomedical approach for a longer-standing patient’s family.
I am so grateful to Ms. Silberberg for writing this wonderful book and turning the challenge that she shared with her son (and her non-spectrum daughter) into a unique and generous gift for all Spectrum-disorder-affected families.

I’ve heard before that what you want as a title and what the publishers require often differs.
Best wishes
