Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!
Friday, November 28th, 2008Hard to believe that today is “Black Friday.” In this horrible economy the news will be ablaze with stories of sales/deals and how empty the stores were in comparison to past years.
But…we still need to remember and reflect upon what we have and what we are thankful for this holiday season! It is the things that do not cost money that we must be grateful for. We have to be thankful for our health and all of the things we DO have…… The love of family and friends and pets………. The smiles and warm greetings that we can share with one another…… The little things we can do for one another……and The successes that we have made along the way.
We have to be grateful for the research and education on autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, Celiac Disease, heart disease, cancer and much more. We have to be grateful that we know that “we ARE what we eat” and we are the ones who can control what we eat, what we buy and what we prepare and serve for our loved ones.
I am grateful that I have been able to change and help so many lives and families by providing much needed help and advice on the GFCF Diet. It warms my heart everyday, when yet another mom emails me and says, “THANKS to you, our child is back to us, it was much due to YOU for helping us change his or her diet and guide us step by step.” This is music to my ears.!
This season let’s reflect on what we CAN do for each other and what changes we can make that are not about money! I think we need this more than anything else this year!
